Fields
A term can be added through filling a form. Fill in a headword, a definition, an example usage, the origin, and anything else worth knowing under Other.
All fields are optional except the headword.
Outdated Terms
Slang that no one says anymore does not get deleted. Fill in the either year or both the year and the month it went out of use. If unsure, guess to the best of your knowledge.
Inside an Entry
Slang used inside an ordinary entry should link to its term here the first time it appears. Thus, a reader who does not know the word can easily access the definition, and the entry does not carry a second copy that can drift.
A short gloss alongside the link is still worth writing. Just enough that a reader does not have to leave the sentence. It is not required.
Reverting, locking, reports, and everything else that happens to a term after it exists works exactly as it does for an entry. See Housekeeping.
